For our client, a consulting and software development company specialized in financial and industrial applications, we are looking for Software Developer (Java) for a Short Term Contract (1-2 Month), who can help drive ongoing projects to completion.Your Tasks:
- Development of software components for portfolio construction, risk management and private client advisory
- Working independently or in small groups in the development and delivery of software components and services
- Building prototypes quickly while providing a high quality robust products
- Responsible for the technical delivery of multiple projects
- Provide technical leadership to other SW Engineers with software design and development
- In Charge Requirement Session with Clients and Partners to identify
Your Profile:
- A Higher Degree in Information Technology or equivalent working experience
-Very strong Coding Skills with Core Java/J2SE, Hibernate, JUnit/BDD and experienced with Matlab
- Work Experience with WEB Technologies, such as HTTP, REST, HTML, JavaScript, ZK, d3
- Additional Knowhow with RDBMS, such as Oracle, MSSQL, mySQL, (etc.) is an advantage
- An overall understanding of financial instruments and their different characteristics
- Experience with Core Banking system, such as Avaloq, Finnova (etc.) is also a plus
- English (professional proficiency) and German (working proficiency) are required
- A valid Work Permit for Switzerland is required
IMPORTANT: This engagement is open to independent contractors with sole proprietorship or a GmbH. Collaboration with Consulting Companies, as well as Near- and Offshoring Companies is not possible.
