Project environment

A global Swiss Bank is lacking a L3 Engineer to ramp up activities for Splunk deployment in the Swiss zone.

Tasks

• An Unix and Splunk Engineer to provide 3rd Level technical support for both CH green and secure zones for the new Logging platform.
• Responsibilities include providing 3rd Level support to other 3rd Level and 2nd Level on the future ELM infrastructure.
• Maintain Splunk infrastructure and configuration.
• Undertake day-to-day operational / user support.
• Execute data / user on-boarding.
• Staff 3rd Level helpdesk for Splunk system related assistance.
• Provide expert Splunk knowledge / development / engineering skills for the new Splunk logging solution.
• Primary focus engineering of Splunk solution based on business requirements.
• Providing day-to-day engineering, testing, technical documentation and deployment packages for the new Splunk solution.
• Assist in the migration of existing SEGWay to the new Splunk solution.

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge in Unix, r-syslog and Splunk.
• Must be Splunk certified.

Soft skills

• Good German and English skills.
• Motivated and communicative personality who is able to work team oriented and independently.
