Windows Server Engineer/IT Security Engineer
On behalf of our client, a leading global company within the bank world, we are looking for a Windows Server Engineer. For this contract position based in Zürich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Timely preparation and handover of Security IT solution designs and documentation
- Application deployment and configuration management
- Integrate 3rd party software into the bank
- Ensure high quality and timely and cost-effective preparation of software deployment to development, test and production environments
- Collect and deliver a system engineering effort estimate on request for projects
- Act as a partner for Business Analysts regarding requirements specification
- Maintain documentation relevant to operations (operation manual, installation guide, etc.).
- Responsible for the timely preparation and handover of Security IT solution designs and documentation
The skills and experience needed for this position are:
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Proven record within a Windows Engineering and IT Security Engineering role
- Strong experience with analysis, conceptual and design work in the following security areas: Building Access, 2FA; OTP
- Ability to drive and reconcile new system architectures
- Knowledge of building access technologies, and in particular knowledge of Tyco's C-Cure system is a strong asset.
- Experienced in the design and deployment high-availability systems
- Experience of working within an IT Security organization, a deep understanding of security principles
