The client seeks a contractor to provide project management services.
The scope of the service includes the following:
? Planning, execution and control of projects in order to deliver them on time and within budget. Projects include implementation of a Document Management solution based on Alfresco
? Coordinate and lead the project activities related to review and acceptance of the vendor deliverables
? Monitor vendor performance on the project, address issues as they arise and if necessary, escalate to designated focal points
? Managing project resources and tracking project costs
? Manage Project communications
? Creation and maintenance of project management documents throughout the life cycle of the project from Start Up to Closure
? Manage transition from project team to operations and support
The consultant should have the following skills and experience:
? At least 10 years of IT work experience
? More than 5 years of experience in managing IT projects
? Experience in managing successfully at least one Document Management implementation project using Alfresco/Documentum/SharePoint/Filenet or any other major Enterprise Document Management solution
? Experience in managing Outsourced Implementation projects
? Good knowledge of Document Management concepts and principles
? Familiarity with IT Infrastructure and Hosting services
? Adept in solving problems and resolving conflicts
? Ability to determine project objectives and give direction
? Experience in managing projects in a multi-cultural environment
