For a 3-6 month project with our customer in Lausanne, we are looking ASAP for an eBusiness Front End Web Developer

Tasks:

  • In relation with the International Webmastering Manager: Manage the day to day design requirements on all web platforms to support the HQ and markets digital marketing requests for B2C & B2B Channels.
  • Support the development of internal & customer facing web-based applications.
  • Convert PSD files & visual concepts into fully functional, ready to be implemented code.
  • Support international coding requirements for E-commerce and mobile applications.
  • Provide timely support to international markets & internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with external suppliers to facilitate the development process
  • Develop & maintain digital marketing assets on all web platforms to support the HQ and international projects for B2C & B2B Channels.
  • Follow the implementation of HQ and market requests for digital marketing activities
  • Support eBusiness team to reduce time to production on all Front End development projects (web and mobile): including timely completion of predefined tasks & projects, compliance with development guidelines, compatibility of projects on cross-platforms & devices

    • Requirements:

  • Excellent Front End Web Design skills
  • Problem solving through the use of creative technology
  • Ability to work with Ticketing System + Agile
  • Understanding of user interfaces and of user experience.
  • Ability to work in a guided environment (brand guidelines, existing assets)
  • Ability to work on big concepts and also small tactical enhancements
  • Accuracy, reliability & vigilant attention to detail
  • English and French (fluent)
  • Best-in-class knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 & JavaScript.
  • Proven ability to write structured, markup compliant and well documented code.
  • Experience in developing responsive email templates for a wide variety of devices & platforms.
  • Functional knowledge of MVC frameworks
  • Experience with Tag Management (Adobe, Google)
  • Strong Web Analytics knowledge
  • Demonstrated track record in producing fully responsive HTML templates.
  • Deep understanding of E-commerce technical implementation
  • Basic understanding of Back End development (PHP/MySQL)
  • Contribution to open source software a plus
  • Confidence, to present and explain ideas to colleagues in a clear & articulated manner.
  • Familiar with the concepts of Accessibility & Usability
  • 3 years' experience in web development
  • Design diploma is a plus, but more relevantly is the candidate portfolio to be sent with the application.
