For a global bank we are looking for a Senior PL/SQL Developer to join the team.
Work location: Giubiasco, Southern Switzerland.
We are looking for candidates with:
- Oracle, a Senior Developer with 8+ years of experience
- Experience on Oracle ETL and related technologies.
- Hands on experience on SQL, PL/SQL and other
- Demonstrable experience of good query performance tuning skills.
- Experience with all phases of the systems development life cycle
- Excellent organizational, problem solving, and written/verbal communication skills.
- Mentoring experience, especially with developers in different locations.
- Understanding of standard change control policies and procedures and ideally experience working in an IT environment with change control procedures
Preferred qualifications/experience:
- It is a BIG plus is you have experience working with: HP Vertica
- Awareness of test-driven development and design
- Experience of working in a continuous integration environment (TeamCity)
- Experience with Sybase ASE (15)
- Business knowledge of Credit Risk
- Experience with source control (preferably Subversion)
- Experience with UNIX (Linux/AIX/Solaris)
- Daily rate: Gross CHF595 a day (all in contractor rate CHF700 a day)
