On behalf of our client, one of the most established financial institutions worldwide, Swisslinx are looking for a dynamic Senior C# .NET Developer, ideally with experience in the asset management and/or Front Office domain.
This is a 12 month contract with a strong chance of extension based in Zurich, Switzerland.
Senior C# .NET Developer, Banking, English (12 month contract, Zurich)
- Full stack Lead Developer and Solution Architect
- Conceptual design & implement of new integration projects, end to end across the platform and through all layers
- Mentoring of developers
- Integration with internal and 3rd party applications
- Actively encourage Agile methodologies including Scrum/Kanban including Scrum Master responsibilities
- Road map planning, release planning, sprint planning & backlog grooming
- Collaborate with business, business analysts and subject matter experts to clarify requirements
- Closely liaise with infrastructure and support teams to manage deployments and support issues
- Own the solution architecture document
- Assist with 1st level support for greenfield components
- Assist with 2nd to 3rd level support for brownfield components including Beta Engine, the central Asset Management Index Solution platform
In order to be considered for this position, you will possess the following skills:
- 3-7 years C# development experience in the banking sector, ideally in a Front Office, trading or asset management domain
- 5+ years' experience of database development and design, ideally on SQL server and Oracle
- Strong knowledge of different integration approaches like web services, message queues, etc
- Good knowledge of financial products mandatory
- Hands on experience on ASP.NET MVC and WPF
- Professional experience integrating 3rd party vendor systems
- Experience in Agile engineering practices like continuous integration, unit testing, deployment automation
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
