For one of our clients, a worldwide renowned Bank based in Zürich, Swisslinx is currently looking for a Senior IT Project Manager.
Your responsibilities:
The project manager will be tasked to bring 4 projects to their conclusion. Projects are currently gearing towards the closing phases of engineering or are already in implementation phases. Deliveries will include technical tools together with process changes which must be sustainable, evidenced with appropriate service structures, SLAs, governance and training.
The project objective is to deploy the following four solutions:
1. Malware prevention improvements using FireEye NX; this project is already in deployment phase and requires completion in two regions.
2. Deployment of the next generation of Network-Based Intrusion Detection Systems globally.
3. Engineering and deployment of a solution for the monitoring of internal using Sinkholes.
4. Closure of a project in Distributed Denial of Service protection.
Your profile:
Experience managing global projects, ideally PM certifications like PMP, ideally experience with Rational Unified Process (RUP)
Experience with networking/network security
Ideally, experience with FireEye, Sourcefire, Security Onion and other network security tools
Experience using structured software development methods (SDLC)
Strong analytical skills to analyse complex problems, develop solutions, and build consensus around those solutions
Experience in large FSI corporations
Ability to work across time zones, hierarchy levels, and cultures
Strong stakeholder management and communications skills are essential, both in written and verbally. Project requires political finesse with various stakeholders, many of whom are senior.
This is a 6 months contract initially.
