For our client, a leading corporate listed on the SMI, Swisslinx is searching for a strong Senior Project Manager for a contract position in Zurich.
The scope of the project will be the implementation of a new Events Management Application designed to enhance and develop all events management throughout the entire organisation.
This project will be led by an individual whose key tasks will be as follows:
- The creation of a PDD in order to gain approval from all parties and stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Extensive mitigation and management in order to ensure that all risks, challenges and changes are all effectively avoided or controlled to a the highest level
- Complete progress and deliverable tracking with status being reported to the appropriate teams and stakeholders
- Ensuring that all steps are taken to ensure that the project is delivered on time, on budget and in scope
- Define the project communication plan
- Work together with the sponsor to gain the approval of all line manager of request participants
- Actively manage all internal and external dependencies
We expect that the candidate that will ultimately secure this position will have a strong contract record in management consulting and their CV will reflect many end to end consulting projects working with some of the world's leading firms. Their experience will also entail numerous global scale implementation projects, preferably with Lanyon, CVent and/or eTouch.
