The following represents an overview of key responsibilities/tasks:
Communications
. Is creating and driving evolution of the communication concept for Bern site in a systematic way, with a strong focus on managing all aspects of internal communications:
- set-up of an efficient model of local internal communication
- critical review of existing processes with improvement and set-up of new processes
- Identifies communication needs by working with the local Management board
. Is handling communications projects (plan, develop and implementation) for Bern site
. Is the primary contact to stakeholders and partners for communications
. Researches, writes and edits communications (Internet, Intranet, Announcements, Newsletter etc.) for Bern site. Prepares materials for internal and external presentations on activities in Bern
. Organizes and coordinates external and internal stakeholder visits
. Supports/Leads local team with rebranding of our local organization
. Implements local adaptations of international communication activities
Corporate Programs & Event Management
. Supports certain Corporate Programs (eg BCP)
. Organizes internal and external events eg Town Halls, Sponsoring, Site events, etc
Qualifications:
* Communications Degree (Bachelor/Master, "Fachausweis" in PR or Communications)
* Professional experience in communication or PR - preferably in an international company (Pharm, Medical or Consumer)
* Excellent knowledge of communication trends, new media
* Excellent diction (verbally and written)
* Good understanding of economic and business complexity
* Fluent in German and English (written and spoken). Additional language skills are desired
* Strong interdependent partnering skills - operates well in networked and Matrix organization
* Responsive, flexible and supportive personality with a strong customer service mentality
* Initiative person who likes to set-up a strong local communication structure, with a creative and sustainable working style
