SHAREPOINT SOLUTION ENGINEER/ARCHITECT, SWITZERLAND, 12 MONTH CONTRACT
One of our prestigious clients is currently looking to add an experienced SharePoint Solution Engineer/Architect to one of their office's based in Geneva, Switzerland.
Responsibilities:
Enable the delivery of multiple workloads including Business Intelligence, Collaboration and Knowledge Management and Web and Mobile Applications.
Guide solutions based on patterns and best practices around Content Management, User Adoption, Governance and Change Management.
Minimize custom development on existing platforms.
Serve as subject matter expert in SharePoint (including its full BI stack) as well as MVC web application frameworks and mobile app development.
Technical evangelism: pre-sales and technical presentations.
Define and design solutions that are scalable, reusable and highly available.
Technical duties include architectural design and troubleshooting with a focus on planning, deploying and supporting SharePoint and web technologies implementations.
Design and document Intranet, Extranet and Internet portals relying on SharePoint and other web technologies
Design and document BI solutions relying on Microsoft BI tools (SSAS, SSIS, SSRS), ESRI, Tableau and other supported and/or standard tools.
Provide comprehensive content management strategies for Intranet, Extranet and public facing websites
Collaborate with DER to ensure UXs are compliant with branding standards.
Enable the creation of a social enterprise through collaboration and messaging tools like SharePoint, Lync and Yammer.
Design a cohesive and seamless platform with integration between SharePoint and other internal applications/platforms such as Yammer, Exchange, Office, Lync, etc.
Working with developers and overseeing the project deliverable.
Skills & Experience:
.NET and SharePoint 2013 core functionality and app design
Specific experience with solution architecture using SharePoint, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft SQL Server, .NET Framework, ASP.NET, C# MVC, Enterprise Content Management, Web Content Management, Intranet and Extranet Design, Business Intelligence and Web Technologies
Project experience designing and deploying content management solutions focusing on document management, workflow, document archiving, content creation and deployment strategies for web-focused business teams or consumers Project experience deploying intranets, collaborative work spaces, company portals or departmental web sites
Additional expertise in non-SharePoint technologies such as other MVC frameworks (Ruby on Rails, Python/Django, etc.), Drupal, WordPress, Tableau, ESRI.
University degree in ICT or related subject.
A minimum of 5 years of experience designing and architecting SharePoint and Web solutions
Fluent in written and spoken English
