POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Shopping Policy Analyst, you'll be responsible for applying Google Shopping policies at scale by helping the Engineering team continuously improve our automated systems.
In this role you'll be expected to become an expert in our policies who deeply understands the reasoning behind such policies at the large scale while being able to apply that same knowledge in a practical fashion at the very small scale of individual ads.
You'll develop the ability to identify and negotiate complex policy corner cases while translating that knowledge into scalable rules that can be deployed programmatically.
Also, depending on what's the new major E-commerce threat the team is fighting, you'll be asked to put your research and investigation skills to work in order to quickly identify a problem, scope it out and suggest a way forward.
Requirements:
- Full proficiency in English and Finnish
- Ability to read, write and understand
- Good analytical skill set
- Basic SQL skills (or willingness/ability to build them)
