Role: Test Engineer
Location: Zurich
Duration: ASAP for 12 months
Responsibilities: Regularly release Google Trips Android and iOS binaries to PlayStore and AppStore. Automate process where applicable (for instance metric collection for System Health). Keep up with release policies and adjust process as applicable. Maintain a test plan and test suites including documentation expanding where needed. Perform manual testing of Android and iOS applications according to the test plans. Perform Accessibility testing and accessibility fixes where applicable. File comprehensive bug reports and work with the engineering team to verify closure. Perform updates and migrations as recommended by best practices (example LiteProto migration, new SDK). Perform bug triage and feedback summaries. Requirements: Familiarity with Mobile development on Android and iOS and respective IDEs. Ability to troubleshoot and read debug logs. Familiarity with QA and release process.
