For a project at our client ‘s site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experiencedLead Solution Architect - Service-Oriented Architecture (5880)
In this exciting project, you will design and develop SOA-based solutions following best practices and formal methodologies and perform evaluations of products and solutions, make rational design decisions from business and technical perspectives, and communicate recommendations.
Your Qualifications:
• 10+ years’ experience in solution architecture, preferably within the banking industry
• Well versed in broad technology delivery, including custom development using various development languages
• Strong knowledge in designing and developing SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture) solutions
• Experience with providing technical leadership, mentoring in software engineering design, development, and frameworks, analyzing alternatives
• Experience with driving technical planning and solutions for small software portfolio, including authoring or managing the development of software designs, managing vendor evaluations
• Experience with injecting new technology into enterprise systems
• Very good communication and presentation skills in English
Your Responsibilities:
• Design and develop SOA-based solutions following best practices and formal methodologies
• Perform evaluations of products and solutions, make rational design decisions from business and technical perspectives, and communicate recommendations
• Participate in the strategic analysis, planning, and execution of IT-enabled business solutions
• Lead the execution of duties and participate in an effort to capture and validate an as-is view of capabilities and defined functional baseline
• Establish a strategic technology roadmap based on mission needs, evolve to-be architecture to meet needs, and review, interpret, and provide input to operational architecture views
• Identify critical mission gaps, redundancies, and dependencies aligned with component impacts or costs
