For a long-term project at our client ‘s site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for aDB2 Database Administrator - COBOL / zOS (5814)
In this role, you’ll be working in the Application Management Core team where you will develop, maintain and support the Core Card Management System for more than 2 Million Visa and Mastercard Credit Cards.
Your Qualifications:
• Proven track record as DB2 Database Administrator with very good COBOL programming knowledge
• Sound zOS knowledge to analyze and improve performance
• Experience with Control-M and BMC tools such as Mainview etc.
• CICS experience with Web Service integration is a plus
• Good communication skills and good cooperation with other IT- and Business-Teams
• Fluent in English, German would be a plus
Your Responsibilities:
• Evaluate, plan and integrate technical infrastructure solutions, on zOS with DB2 and COBOL
• Guarantee a secure infrastructure environment as well as production stability, performance and capacity management
• Analyze errors in systems and define corrective measures
