Java Developer wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.
Your experience/skills:
- University degree in Information Technology or Engineering
- 2 + years' experience of Java or Java EE development including implementing UI components and software solutions using HTML5/CSS 3 and SASS/JavaScript ES5 or ES6
- Domain knowledge of Object Oriented programming patterns and principles as well as Databases, SQL, preferably Oracle and JavaScript principles
- Profound background of RESTful web services coupled with best practices in an enterprise development environment such as continuous integration, test-driven development and source code control
- Familiarity with AngularJS/Angular 2+ along with multi browser, multi-device programming and debugging, Typescript and Angular 2+ would be beneficial
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German is an advantage
Your tasks:
- Implementing high quality, reusable and well tested software solutions for Front End as well as Back End
- Creating new functionalities and extending the existing applications
- Troubleshooting complex technical issues coupled with providing high quality technical documentation
- Collaborating with our business colleagues as well as other disciplines to work out technical solutions out of the requirements and to shape new business solutions
- Providing high quality software solutions coping with challenging timelines and a dynamic environment
