Empiric Solutions are currently seeking for an experienced PL/1 Developer for a Global Blue Chip Banking Industry based in Zurich for an initial 6-12 months contract.
Skills and Experience:
- The expectation is of an experienced Pl/1 developer familiar with the latest version of the PL/1 language (Enterprise PL/1) and having experience developing new code from scratch in agile environments.
- Features in latest version of enterprise PL/1 - the candidate should be comfortable with:
- Enabling of PL/1 application to handle bigdata requirements
- application modernization with XML
- additional SQL support for DB2 applications
- new ways of handling JASON data
- new compiler options which enables enforcing better coding standards and efficient ways to diagnose problems
