Tasks
• Participate in all phases of software development from feasibility studies through design, development, testing and bug fixing, including software maintenance
• Participate in defining work packages, including time estimates
• Produce code based on software requirements, defined architectures and other project guidelines
• Produce unit tests that verify code against unit and/or subsystem specifications
• Write unit and subsystem specifications
• Execute the assigned work packages correctly, completely and in a timely manner
• Provide all necessary documentation according to the software development process.
Skills
Required Work/Profession Experience
• Five years of .NET development experience
• Experience joining an ongoing project with a complex and extensive codebase
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or five plus years of relevant experience
• English proficient, German good
Desirable Work/Profession Experience
• Medical device development with conformance to IEC 62304 and ISO 14971
• Experience developing software in a regulated environment (e.g. Medical, Defense, and/or telecomm)
• Experience developing software for instrument control
