On behalf of our client, a leading bank in Zürich, we are looking for a Java Application Developer with proven experience in developing Back End in Java and using Oracle database. Main responsibilities:
- Daily monitoring of finance trade application production stability
- Prod incidents: investigate, analyze, fix, coordinate fix with team
- Coordinating & contacting various involved stakeholders
- Investigate and analyze changes, provide solutions and estimates; closely coordinate discussions and solution finding
- Requirement Engineering: closely cooperate with relevant business SMEs, BAO, and ITO
- Quality Assurance of all deliverables (software components, test cases, documentation, etc.)
- Ensure quality and completeness in testing, including successful execution for each release
- Coordinate upstream/downstream team activities (if required)
Essentials Skills and Qualifications:
- Over 5 years of experience with programming in Java, including J2EE technologies (preferably Weblogic), AngularJ
- In-deep knowledge of database technologies (preferably Oracle)
- Sound knowledge of web technologies such as web services, XML, OO and MQ
- Strong communication skills in English, German is a plus
