For a project at our client ‘s site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experiencedSoftware Engineer - VB)
You’ll be working in the team "Application Management non-core" where you will manage and develop software across all business divisions. You will work closely with two other VB6 developers.
Your Qualifications:
• Proven experience in the development and maintenance of visual basic 6 software, preferably within financial industry
• In-depth experience in the life cycle of system development (SDLC)
• Experienced in test units as well as integration of components into larger subsystems
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills
• Fluent in English and good in German
Your Responsibilities:
• Develop software components in Visual Basic 6 as defined by the systems development life cycle (SDLC)
• Test unit and integration of components for integration into larger subsystems
• Support the Software Component Manager in resolving high-priority defects and deploying fixes to production systems
• Make sure that produced code is secure, stable and operational before handover to the Software Component Manager
• Manage versions of software artifacts
