Web Developer with profound Asp.NET and JavaScript knowledge wanted for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.
Your experience/skills:
- Higher Education in Computer Science with practical experience in financial industries is desirable
- Proficient in Web technologies like Asp.NET MVC and Web Api, Typescript/JavaScript, jQuery, angular, react and knockout
- Strong experience in UX Design, in particular designing UI from a usability and user interaction point of view
- Understanding of mathematical modelling to support Quant developer in their absence with knowledge of Unit testing and mocking frameworks, C# and .NET core are a plus
- Background in Requirements Engineering and Business Analysis coupled with strong communication, analytic and problem solving skills
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German is a plus
Your tasks:
- Taking responsibility for requirements engineering, development and testing
- Developing web components in a prototyping environment and taking part in extending the testing framework as well as maintaining and improving unit tests
- Enhancing existing functionalities along with designing and implementing new features following coding best practices
- Understanding business specifications, converting requirements into technical solutions and supporting the Production Environment and end-users
- Working independently and as part of a small team in an agile environment, under the guidance of the tech lead
