We are looking for a Senior Java Software Engineer to join an international Company in the area of Private Banking.
You will be working on one of the Risk applications. The application is used to monitor and track issues that could result a risk to the bank. The application is Java 1.7 based and interfacing to a Oracle DB.
You are responsible for the software development and are participating in the design activities also writing unit tests for creating software and documenting the code and developing solutions are one of your
Bug fixing and maintenance is one of the main tasks. You are one of a 4 member team with 3 apprentices and work closely together with the other locations.
Candidate Requirements:
- Several years' of experience in software development using Java EE
- Experience in the design or implementation of application platforms
- In-depth knowledge of IntelliJ or Eclipse
- Good knowledge of JPA 2 and SQL (preferable Oracle SQL)
- Experience working with web UI frameworks
- Experience working with Maven, Jira, FishEye and Continuous Integration
- Knowledge of mocking frameworks
- Fluent in English, German is a big advantage
The position is a long-term contracting position, they offer an opportunity to extend the contract up to two years.
