JAVA Quantitative Developer - SCALA/Equities/Derivatives - This is a long term contract opportunity for an experienced Developer with Trade Floor experience to join a global trading team. The role will involve the quantitative development of trading and sales applications.
Your experience/skills:
- Experience in quantitative software development with Java and possibly Scala
- Familiarity with Object Oriented software design and design patterns
- Knowledge about derivative instruments, their fair valuation and the relevant market data such as interest rate curves, volatility surfaces, etc.
- Languages: fluent English
Your tasks:
- Developing quantitative services (in the software sense) to enable the implementation of new generation sales and trading applications
- Defining supplied interfaces and collaborating in the integration of the realized services in IT applications
- Implementing software infrastructure needed to support the above activities
