Responsibilities:
Lead the vision, design, implementation and delivery of technology projects for Back End integrations and native mobile applications across platforms, by defining the application architecture for solutions.
Partner with Producers and Tech Leads (senior developers/engineers) during the development of a project to define the implementation and delivery details.
Work closely with Implementation Teams (Engineers, DBA, Developers, Vendors) to bring new technology and innovative solutions.
Define the right solution/approach for integration between internal and external apps/systems (eg Mobile or Web Platforms from other entities).
Work closely with Security IT and Risk IT teams to incorporate Security, Compliance and Business Continuity into the architecture.
Plan solutions, application and technical architecture and Datamodelling, along with guiding requirements gathering, project estimation and scoping, and long-term planning.
Proactively develop a range of technologies keeping in mind the business impact.
Sometimes may need to be in a client-facing role, presenting the technical vision, points of view and fielding the details of specific executions.
Essential Requirements:
Must have IT experience as an Application Architect, specifically in Integration strategies & solutions.
Must be proficient with distributed systems - primarily Java/J2EE stack (but not limited to)
Must have solid experience in Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), Web Services and associated technologies.
Experience in Datamodelling, ER, OO and UML and using the same to define the Architecture.
Soft Skills Required:
English (high level) required mandatory.
German proficiency (intermediate level - conversational and reading) required mandatorily.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent analytical and documentation skills.
Team player and able to multi-task.
Desired Experience:
Working knowledge of Visio. Knowledge of Rational Software Architect is desirable.
Experience in BFS (Card services) is good to have
Experience with Security and Compliance (GDPR, PCI DSS, etc.) is highly preferred
Experience or knowledge of ESB/Middleware technologies is highly preferred
TOGAF certification is highly preferred.
