For a project at our client ‘s site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for a

Database Developer - MS Access / VC++ (5474)

The ideal candidate will take responsibility for analyzing error logs and new requirements to design and implement solutions as well as create, execute and report on regression test plans and scripts.

Your Qualifications:

• Experienced in MS Access 2010 database design
• Well versed in data model implementation and data loads from external sources
• Experienced in database administration to maintain security and integrity of the database
• Good knowledge of data transformation and aggregation
• Experienced in MS Access 2010 database related development programming in Visual Basic for applications
• Good skills in VC++ to develop reports queries and linked tables
• Knowhow with VBA coding to extract information from various sources and import into MS Access
• Experienced Windows 7, shell script (CMD) and PowerShell developement
• Fluent in English

Your Responsibilities:

• Performance tuning of queries to develop reconciliations of Access DB results to the strategic / source system results
• Analyse error logs and new requirements to design and implement solutions
• Create, execute and report on regression test plans and scripts
• Prepare technical requirements and documentation for follow-up evaluations of Data Loads, Data Transformation and Aggregation for a data warehouse, considering the MS Access work prototyping
• Access RESTful interfaces of JIRA from Access VBA
• Access ODBC data sources (Oracle and MSQL) for data import
