NextLink Solution, a Swiss It Consultancy Company that has been providing both IT services and IT staffing to major customers for the past 20 years, has an excellent opportunity that can take your career to the next level.
NextLink is looking for a Laravel Expert with PHP Experience, to work in Geneva, Switzerland for a 4 months contract for a Retail/Lux company.
The main elements in the perimeter of the project are:
a) Analysis of the requirements with ITSD and Conference Office (AGSD) staff
b) Design and implementation of the eMeeting web application comprising all needed functionalities which are today delivered by the current solution, among which some of the important functionalities are:
o Ability to define meeting rooms, and their characteristics
o Ability to create a meeting
o Ability to have some reports
c) Improvements to the current solution by: cleaning and simplifying unneeded details, read/write dedicated interfaces for specific roles like technicians and admin assistants
d) Data migration from the Legacy system
e) Rework of the interfaces between eMeeting and other applications like Documents for Meetings, DMS
Interpreters, DOL, EBB, wto.org website.
f) Technical Documentation
g) Deployment procedure
To be successful in this role, you have:
- Demonstrated development skills in Laravel with 3+ years (supported by documentation/examples of
applications), and a thorough knowledge 4+ of PHP,
- Demonstrated website design skills (supported by documentation/examples),
- Demonstrated project requirements analysis skills,
- Demonstrated development skills with MySQL database with 4+ years of experience (supported by
documentation/examples of applications or databases),
- Demonstrated experience in deploying Laravel application in the production environment,
- Good understanding of data modelling and entity-relationship model.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English (listening, speaking and writing),
