For a project at our client‘s site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experiencedQuant Developer - Trading Applications .NET C# / SQL (5446)
You will be supporting the development team to overcome the challenge of changing requirements related to the in-house trading applications.
Your Qualifications:
• Deep understanding of mathematical modeling and working directly with Quants
• Strong skills in OOP, .NET C# 4.5 or above, LINQ, multi-threading
• Good DB design and SQL knowledge including SQL Server 2008 or above
• Requirements engineering/Business Analysis skills
• Understanding in test-driven development as well as Agile/Scrum experience
• Experience working with Web technologies: Asp.Net MVC & Web API, JavaScript (jQuery, angular, knockout, …) is a plus
• Good oral/written communication, positive and proactive team attitude
• Good spoken and written English, German is a plus
Your Responsibilities:
• Working independently and as part of a small team in an agile environment, under the guidance of the tech lead
• Developing analytical components in a prototyping environment
• Enhancing existing functionalities and designing/implementing new features following coding best practices
• Taking part in extending the testing framework and maintaining/improving unit tests
• Understanding the business specifications, converting requirements into technical solutions
• Supporting the Production Environment and the end-users
