Java Backend Developer with profound Java knowledge wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.
Your experience/skills:
- Excellent Knowledge and experience in design and development of high performant Back End applications based on Java, using technologies such as HTML 5/CSS 3, JavaScript/jQuery/AJAX and Oracle 12c Database
- Expertise in OpenXML SDK, IntelliJ, Stash, Git, Jenkins, Nexus and JBOSS
- Good understanding of software development/customisation processes in addition to ability to provide solutions with minimal guidance from the superiors
- Capability to analyse complex and poorly defined problems related to the application as well as Java Certification is advantageous
- Languages: fluent English and German both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Developing the existing Java based Front End applications for Action Manager with deliverables such as analysis of Requirements and creation of Solution Design, developing new features and bug fixing
- Defining and writing Unit/Integration test cases coupled with tracking and documenting changes using standard Bank tools such as JIRA and SharePoint
- Providing 3rd level support for production issues caused by the new deliveries in addition to proactive planning and measures definition to improve the existing applications
- Ensuring the high quality of delivered solution
