For one of our clients in the financial sector, we are looking for an Application Support Analyst to join them for a 12 months+ contract.
Key tasks include:
- Perform daily checks & a variety of support tasks within the support team
- Respond to incidents, investigate root cause and follow their life cycle through to resolution
- Adopt a pro-active approach to the all incidents and problems raised
- Ensure customers are updated and tickets are managed with the correct level of information
- Interact with surrounding support teams to consult on issues
- Address a variety of ad-hoc queries and run various reports
Your profile:
- Have previous experience as a Trading Application Support Analyst
- Proven experience supporting a Windows and Unix environment
- Possess an understanding of relations databases and have working knowledge of SQL queries
- Thrive on solving problems and the process of continuous improvement
- Motivated, friendly and approachable
- Be articulate, composed and a great communicator, both written and verbal
- Fluent in English is a must
- Finance background preferred but not essential
