For a project at a client in the financial industry we are looking for an experienced DB2 developer as follows:
Begin: as soon as possible
Duration: 3 - 6 months
Location: Olten area (half way between Zurich and Berne)
Tasks:
- Substantially improving the perforrmance of existing scripts
- Analysis of actual usage of DB2 tables of a DWH (load jobs, SQL statements, ...), DB2-related design, creation of indexes, reviewing SQLs of developers w.r.t. optimization potentials ......
- Performance testing
Requirements:
- Experienced DB2 & SQL developer
- Experience in performance tuning
- Datastage and some Java skills are a plus
