Our client is a well-established, Swiss-owned company with offices based in Basel and Zurich. We are searching for a strong Java Software Developer with banking experience for an immediate start.
Location: Basel or Zurich
Duration: 3-6 months with option for extension
Start date: immediate
Employment: contractor/freelancer
The Challenge:
- You develop a custom-made solution with Agile methods in Java
- You take the responsibility to review requirements and contribute to the discussion around the technical approach and technologies
- You are covering most aspects of the software development life cycle from conception to delivery
The right person for the role:
The ideal person will be a seasoned software engineer with sound knowledge in Java and established skills on the Java Virtual Machine (JavaScript, AngularJS, JavaFX, Groovy, etc.) Someone senior enough to own a software development project and both advise on best practice and deliver high-quality development with Java.
Skills Matrix:

- Full Software Development Lifecycle experience
- Fluent English is required, German would be a plus
