For an international institution in Zurich we are seeking a highly motivated professional to take up the following challenge:

Office 365 Service Delivery Manager (Contract) - 5774

Job Description

• Development and implementation of Office365 operations and process in line with business requirements
• Support enablement of Office365 workloads
• Provide management and oversight of Office365 operations
• Provide operations view and expertise to Office365 engineering teams
• Manage Office365 Core Platform operations with vendors and stakeholders
• Manage support escalations to Microsoft
• Collaborate with DWP SDM team to ensure consistency of approach and SDM strategy alignment
• Heavily contribute towards Office365 operational and process framework and implement the same
• Work closely with Office365 engineering and product management teams following agile methodology to enable their services and transition them into BAU operations
• Closely align with neighboring functions on operational topics (AzureAD, Network, etc)
• Work closely with DWP SDM team to align with SDM strategy and provide input
• Service Delivery Management of Office365 Core Platform Service
o knowledge transfer to L1 functions (ContactOne and Field Services) and other support teams involved
o guidance and management of Office365 Platform support team L2/L3
o vendor relationship and contract management
o provide adequate monitoring capabilities (health, performance, security)
o devise Office365 reporting strategy to all stakeholders and implement
o working closely with finance function in controlling service budget
• Participate in Office365 Service Reviews
• Understand common Office365 assistance and support topics
• Relationship management and escalation with Microsoft technical account team
• Handle escalations from technical support teams and key IT stakeholders & management
• Driving and managing continual service improvements with technical and non-technical teams, including automation and process topics
• Drive or contribute to RFIs/RFPs for services from external vendors


Requirements

• Strong knowledge of cloud service delivery especially O365, service transition into BAU, as well as operations and design of IT system support
• Previous involvement in larger scale Office365 projects
• Familiar with Microsoft Office365, as well as enabling and neighboring technologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Security or a directly-related discipline, or equivalent experience
• Practical experience in running IT operations in larger enterprises
• Can deal with external vendor support organizations as well as other internal support teams
• Can collaborate directly and efficiently with key IT service stakeholders and IT management
• Proven track record of service and customer orientation
• Ability to manage virtual and geographically dispersed teams and stakeholders
• Experience with IT Service Management tools and how they integrate into SDM requirements
• Write proposals and present clearly to key IT and business stakeholders
• Strong team player with the ability to take ownership of issues and see them through until resolution
• Experience of communicating and interacting professionally within your team and in interdisciplinary projects (cross-platform)
• Very good communication and presentation skills in English
• Desired experience:
o Work experience in agile delivery models
o Extensive know how of helpdesk and operations procedures
o Maintain a professional attitude even in periods of stress and time pressure
o Major Incident Management/ Crisis Management experience
