PL/SQL Developer
One of our leading clients based in Zurich, Switzerland is looking for a Oracle ETL/PL/SQL Developer for a leading insurance client, this will be a long-term project and is working through a leading global consultancy partner. Tasks
- Unix Shell Scripting
- Analyse source systems and business requirements in order to design efficient data extraction processes
- Develop new ETL processes for various business groups (Life, Sales, Marketing, Actuarial, Finance, etc.)
- Maintain and improve existing data extraction processes out of core insurance policy/claims administration systems
- Develop one-off data extracts/reports on an ad-hoc basis based on business requirements
Skills
- Good knowledge of Oracle, ideally Oracle 12c
- Good knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL
- Fluent in English
- Speaks German
- Insurance know-how and experience with ETL processes in the context of insurance policy/claims administration systems and ODS's/DWH's
- Good communication skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively with IT and business users
- Good analytical skills
- Entrepreneurs mentality
