For a project at our client‘s site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experiencedDatabase Administrator - Oracle (5136)
The ideal candidate will support and execute infrastructure driven application migrations from the legacy offerings (legacy to strategic network, DBaaS, IaaS, PaaS). Key responsibilities will include managing database migrations for complex and large scale migrations with the project team, L2 resources and ultimately application owners, managing risks and issues and managing small project plans, supporting the migration weekends.
Your Qualifications:
- Strong Oracle Database migrations experience
- Excellent knowledge in Oracle RDBMS 10g – 11g, 12c, Dataguard, RMAN, RAC and OEM
- Excellent communication skills and team player
- Strong analytical and structured way of thinking with the ablity to work unsupervised
- Fluent in English
Your Responsibilities:
- Managing complex database migrations
- Propose, implement systems and support enhancements and process improvements
- Constantly improve business value as well as user experience of the applications
- Work closely with the project team to identify migration strategies
Majority of PROD related migration work, dry run, dry test, LIVE MIGRATION will be happening on Weekends!
