I am currently assisting my client who pride themselves on their reputation, to find a great SQL BI Developer to be based in Basel, Switzerland. They have an ongoing project that is planned to go well in to 2019, so someone seeking a longer term opportunity would be ideal.
They started their BI journey around 2.5 years ago and have branched the project across various business units to form this overall BI programme.
Skills and experience required:
3 years' experience of querying and analysing data sources in a Microsoft Environment to understand data and determine logic for data transformation
Experience of working with Microsoft data integration tools and/or EDW Design and development
Design and implementation of SSAS multidimensional and Tabular model
Experience of aggregating cubes
Strong modelling experience
Ideally experience working Financial Services or within other regulated environments
Regulatory Reporting Experience preferred
Data Transformation and Migration from external Sources
Planning and executing database related deployments
Experience with the 'R' function and python would be a huge advantage
Source control tools such a TFS
