Data Scientist - Big Data/Machine learning wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.
Your experience/skills:
- Strong background in Big Data, Python and Java
- Ideally a specific qualification in big data and machine learning projects in asset management
- Concrete projects with sample data sets from related fields as well as machine learning knowledge eg NLP, Time Series analysis, Anomaly Detection, Deep learning or others
- Familiarity with additional programming languages such as JavaScript, R, or Perl and with distributed frameworks such as Spark, Hadoop are desirable
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Taking part in the project between Quant Investments and COO
- Supporting the extension of the current quantitative investment model for equities with new factors
- Obtaining information through novel data sources
- Evaluating whether additional factors and data sources can improve the effectiveness
