Für unseren Kunden suchen wir mehrere Senior Cognos BI Visualisation Spezialisten wie folgt (English):
Abstract
? We have an opening for a Senior Cognos Visualisation Specialist working within Group Risk Management at the client. We are looking for a developer to play a key role in the development and implementation of our reporting strategy using the Cognos BI toolset.
Duties & responsibilities
? Working alongside our Lead Data Analyst, you will be responsible for:
? Maintenance and improvements to our current operational and strategic reports.
? Working with customers to identify new and more efficient reporting solutions. This will include translating business requirements into deliverables and identifying new techniques to present data.
? Designing and developing high quality strategic dashboards using active reports and mobile delivery methods.
? Manage tasks in a fast paced environment to ensure they are completed on time with attention to delivering high quality results.
? Understand customer requirements and effectively manage expectations.
Education
? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS/IS, Insurance equivalent or equivalent work experience.
Knowledge & experience
? 3+ years’ experience in Cognos 8 or 10 Report Studio designing reports with, relational and dimensional functions, unions, joins, drill-through, conditional formatting, experience authoring active reports and bursting techniques.
? 3+ years’ experience with Framework Manager, Cognos Workspace, Cognos Workspace Advanced, Event Studio, Transformer.
? Experience designing interactive, customer appealing active report dashboards using RAVE visualizations.
? Strong database knowledge and some experience of ETL tools.
? Ability to read and write SQL is required.
? Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
? Able to learn technical concepts quickly and apply them effectively in the workplace.
? Able to adapt to changing business requirements and react quickly.
? Strong customer focus and results oriented attitude.
? Strong organizational and problem solving skills.
? Excellent written and spoken English (additional languages are an asset).
