Roles and Responsibilities:
* We are seeking a dynamic and creative Software Developer with the ability to work independently and as part of an international talented team in Zurich.
* You want to design, develop, modify, debug and/or maintain software code according to functional, non-functional and technical design specifications.
* You will follow Amdoc's software engineering standards, applicable software development methodology and release processes, to ensure it is maintainable, scalable, supportable, and demo the software products for stakeholders
* You are looking for excellent customer service and technical support for Amdoc's BSS Rating applications and interfaces,
* You want to provide remote/on-site support to customers or internal teams
Required Skills:
* Relevant experience in the implementation of IT projects in the telecommunication sector (BSS)
* Expertise of Amdocs Kenan Arbor v 12.0 or later and Amdocs Kenan Arbor/FX (2.0 or more)
* In-depth know-how in software/database development using: Oracle PL/SQL, Perl, Python, C, C ++, Java.
* Experience supporting billing operation and handling customer support issues in a Telco/BSS environment.
* Relevant experience in signalling interfaces and on-line/offline charging modules.
Nice to have:
* Relevant Experience in Real Time billing system Kenan experience preferable) and aware of in-depth architecture
Education: Bachelor's degree in Science/IT/Computing or equivalent
Languages:
* Fluent English skills needed for speaking and writing documentation.
* A good command of a second language such as German, French, Italian, Russian, an Indian language or Polish is advantageous.
