For a long-term project at our banking client in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced

Sendmail Expert / E-Mail Infrastructure (5031)

The ideal candidate will be a part of the mail engineering / mail collaboration team and will support the organization in enhancing legacy mail subsystems, adding functionality and work on new security solutions.

Your Qualifications:

- 4+ years of working in a large size organization with corporate email infrastructure
- Advanced Linux administrator and sendmail skills
- Intermediate network (DNS, Firewall) and OpenLDAP knowledge
- Experience in Operating Mail backbone Internet Mail and Application Mail Gateways, Distributions Systems and Global Directory (OS & Application)
- Good Secure electronic messaging experience (in particular Totemo Mail Application)
- Sound Script development skills using Shell script
- Familiarity with Proofpoint Sentrion and Splunk Enterprise products would be an asset
- Perl programming experience would be a plus
- Fluent communication in English, German would be a plus

Your Responsibilities:

- Working closely with the engineering teams (testing in production tests area)
- Creating, executing, implementing and documenting production test cases
- Supporting deployment and migration steps in close collaboration with engineering (software deployment and configuration changes)
- Representing boundary in project calls (providing status updates)
- 2nd level application support for applications belongs to Mail backbone
- Supporting customers (Application developer, Bank users and external partners) and solving Incidents Tickets
- Email policy configuration changes on hygiene layer (firewall & routing policies)
