C# Developer Digital Transformation

Description of the assignment:
The Digital Transformation group of our Client (mechanical engineering factory) is looking to hire an experienced C#/.Net Software Developer. The candidate will be working with our Industry 4.0 development team and will contribute to ongoing activities in the context of machine tool connectivity and remote manufacturing process monitoring. The required infrastructure is provided by the client.

Required skills:
• In depth C#/.Net experience.
• Solid software architecture & design experience.
• Unit-Testing experience and a mindset for test driven development (MSTest or NUnit).
• Experience working according to agile / Scrum software development methodologies using tracking tools such as TFS, Jira, or YouTrack (experience with Microsoft TFS is a plus).
• Source code management with SVN, Git, TFVC.
• Experience setting up and handling continuous integration environments using build server solutions such as TFS, Jenkins, or TeamCity (experience with Microsoft TFS is a plus).

• Specific areas where a conceptual background and/or practical experience is a plus:
o Secure web communication; handling of TLS/SSL certificates / public key infrastructure; user authentication;
o Web communication transport and protocol architectures (HTTPS, WS-*, Binary socket communication).
o Container architectures and container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes or similar.
o Publish/subscribe communication patterns, e.g. ReactiveX.
o Microsoft Azure know-how.
o OPC-UA (Open Platform Communication - Unified Architecture)

Language: very good English, (German would be an advantage)
