C++/Java Software Developer

We are currently looking for a Java Developer with experience working on trading applications, who is an expert within the realm of Java development, and has also a good understanding of FX trading and can communicate directly with business stakeholders. This is a contract assignment.
Tasks
- Development of services for the trading tools in JAVA and C++
- Maintaining and continuously improving existing software
- Designing and integrating solutions to meet new business requirements
- Providing third level support and user training
- Liaising with key business and IT stakeholders
Requirements
- Several years of experience working as a developer in the banking & financial services industry, and experience working on trading applications
- Expert knowledge in Object-oriented Programming in C++ and Java
- Hands-on experience in Visual C++, QT, Core Java and related utilities/libraries, Spring Framework, JMS, JPA, Maven, Eclipse
- Experience in modelling relational databases, Oracle, Hibernate, JDBC
- Very good understanding of financial products, in particular of FX Options
- Experience in integrating financial models
