For a project at our client‘s site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for aJava Software Engineer - Rule Engine / Modelling (4896)
We are looking for a motivated person with drive for the latest development innovation.
Your Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant development experience with Java
- Strong modelling background
- Strong knowledge of distributed computing and low-latency, multithreaded solutions
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills
- Pioneer of emerging code and an ambassador for test- and behavior-driven development
- Comfortable working independently, as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Fluent in English
Your Responsibilities:
- Rule engine engineering
- Test unit and integration of components for integration into larger subsystems
- Support the Software Component Manager in resolving high-priority defects and deploying fixes to production systems
- Make sure that produced code is secure, stable and operational before handover to the Software Component Manager
- Manage versions of software artifacts
