For a long-term project at our client‘s site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experiencedSenior Oracle Developer - SQL / PLSQL (4849)
The role will involve coordination with teams in Zurich, Poland, Pune, and America. You will be working on strict timescales to what can be fairly rigid regulatory deadlines and are responsible for the Integration of implemented Work-Packages into an application.
Your Qualification:
- Deep knowledge of Oracle 10/11g/12c development
- Expert experience in Software Engineering and Software Design with excellent SQL / PLSQL development skills
- Experience with large databases and techniques used therein, Team city and SVN
- Strong Leadership and People Management skills as well as experienced in working with offshore teams
- Commitment to delivery, whether its weekend work supporting PTA or working late to support a release is a must
- Oracle Business Intelligence experience, OBIE, and Informatica is as a plus as well as Oracle 12C exposure and EXADATA experience
- Occasional weekend work
- Fluent in English
Your Responsibilities:
- As the role is in Switzerland, commitment and availability will be key. This will mean extra hours to support PTA and PROD release cycles
Off-Shore coordination
- Integration of implemented Work-Packages into application
- 3rd level Support for several applications
- Implementation of the application components using Oracle PLSQL, Informatica, and OBIEE
- Support Analysis and Design of the application architecture and its components
- Ensure expected code quality
- Participation in integration and user acceptance testing
- Ensure that common standard, processes and tools are adopted across all deliverables
- Ensure the creation of adequate documentation
- High dedication to quality of deliverables and commitment to delivery
