Für unseren Kunden in der schönen Stadt Zürich suchen wir einen erfahrenen Java 8 Entwickler.Must have!
• Understanding of functional and/or object-oriented programming design
• Good knowledge of the Java programming language with practical experience
• Knowledge of the Scala programming language, preferrably with practical experience
• Several years of practical experience with at least one modern functional or object-oriented programming language
• Practical experience with one of the well-known relational databases (preferably MySQL, or else Postgres, ...)
• Practical experience with messaging systems (e.g based on ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, Kafka)
• Some basic knowledge of installing, configuring and maintaining Linux/Unix systems.
• Experience with Agile programming development process (Scrum)
Nice to have
• Good knowledge of Java 8 functional programming features, preferrably with practical experience
• Basic knowledge of scalaz
• Good knowledge of nosql databases
• Experience with build tools such as Maven or sbt
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery pipelines
• Experience with Play Framework, Spring, Hibernate, JavaScript
• Experience with the Intellij or Eclipse IDE
• Practical experience with version control software git and its application as a matter of course
