L3 Support - Hadoop ecosystem wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.
Your experience/skills:
- Proven experience in implementing solutions to process large amounts of data in a Hadoop ecosystem utilising Apache Spark
- Expertise in a similar position, preferably in an international financial environment
- Strong practical know-how in Hadoop ecosystem and solid knowledge of HBase, Oozie, Sqoop, Hive, Impala as well as Solr
- Excellent knowledge of HDFS along with Parquet skills
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Interacting with architecture team to refine requirements
- Cooperating project team to implement solutions on the existing Hadoop platform
- Assisting the platform to ensure dependent components are provisioned
- Cooperating with project team to implement the platform
