For our client in Zurich, Harvey Nash is looking for a competent:
DevOps/Java Developer
Responsibilities
. Contribute to DevOps architecture & process landscape
. Implement components for continuous integration and deployment capability of the Bank
. Execute test and write corresponding reports
. Update documentation like software architecture document, user guidelines, and operation guidelines
Team:
The team will have approximately 6 members and will be Embedded within a program which has 2 other teams of similar size. The local team will collaborate closely with those teams.
Essentials Skills and Qualifications:
As a DevOps Engineer, the candidate needs to have the following skills:
- In depth experience in continuous integration and deployment themes
- 5 Years of experience in JAVA and UNIX Shell Scripting
- Knowledge of one or more of the following tools: Teamcity, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle
- Good communication and presentations skills
- Strong analytical skills
- fluent in English
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in Project/Stream/Squad management
- Experience Agile methodologies (ie SCRUM)
- Experience in one or more of the following languages: Groovy, Powershell, Python
- Experience in IBM Mainframe environment is a plus
- German is a plus
