On behalf of our client, a leading global consulting firm, we are looking for a JAVA Developer for a contract position based in Bern, Switzerland; our client is looking for an German speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible.

- Location: Bern
- Duration: 3 months with a high possibility of extension
Your responsibilities:
- System and application support directly at the customer site with the support of the development teams based in Zurich
- Analyze and design the requirements in close collaboration with the project management, product owners and customers
- Develop customer-specific and complex software applications and extensions
- Collaboration in the development of a complex software product in a Scrum team
- Deployment, integration and testing of new software versions
- Ensuring quality with automated tests and regular reviews
- Documentation of implementations and test results
Your background:
- Successfully completed education in the field of computer science, a higher professional training (HF/FH ) is desirable
- At least 3 years' experience as Java software developer, ideally certification as Scrum Master
You must have experience:
- Java, JEE, JSE, XML, XSLT, JavaScript, Spring, RCP, JSF, WebSphere IIB, Maven, JSON
- Frameworks: Hibernate, .Net, Angular JS
- Mobile: Android, iOS
- Databases: Oracle MS-SQL Server
- Applications server: IBM WebSphere Application Server
- Continuous Integration: Jenkins
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with service-oriented architectures (SOA), JMS, SOAP, REST, Spring and Java Application Servers-
- Hadoop, Confluence, Springcloud, Springboot, Cassandra, Eclipse are also desirable
- Enjoy the development of rich client applications or the development of Server Side functionalities
- A high quality awareness as well as an independent, solution-oriented and structured approach, entrepreneurial thinking and action as well as a strongly pronounced customer orientation complete your profile
- Excellent German and good English skills in spoken and written English
