For our banking client in Zürich, we are looking for a
Application Developer - Java, JAP, Banking
Start: ASAP
Location: Zurich
Duration: 6 month initial contract
An interesting project within the Network Configuration Management (NSCM) team.
Must have skills and experience:
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience with developing with JAP (Java Application Platform) which includes a solid understanding of the JAP Tool-chain
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience of a long-term experience in:
- Back End and Front End programming in Java, including J2EE technologies (preferably Weblogic)
- web technologies such as web services, REST, XML, HTML, OO and MQ
- Be very well-versed with UML, design patterns and Datamodelling
- A good knowledge of database technologies (preferably Oracle)
As a nice-to-have, experience with:
- software distribution/deployment, eg SPUDs and SDSS
- the Linux operating system
- network security devices (eg Firewalls, proxies, load-balancers, etc.)
- development and project management methodologies such as Agile/Scrum, continuous integration, Test-driven development and display a passion for automating integration testing
