Java Developer
On behalf of our client, a leading global bank, we are looking for an English speaking Java Developer to join the bank's Global Order Manager department. The Global Order Manager is the central order handling suite of applications for Securitized, Structured and Treasury Products for Wealth Management in Switzerland and is core to the rollout of the One Wealth Management Platform globally. For this contract position based in Zürich, Switzerland, our client is looking for a candidate who can start as soon as possible.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Develop software components as defined by the systems development life cycle (SDLC)
- Test unit and integration of components for integration into larger subsystems
- Support the Software Component Manager in resolving high-priority defects and deploying fixes to production systems
- Make sure that produced code is secure, stable and operational
You must possess:
- Strong core Java skills
- Large-scale enterprise, object-oriented design experience
- Knowledge of distributed computing and low-latency, multithreaded solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in connectivity and protocols like Fix, Swift
- Understanding of order/executions management systems in financial markets
- Banking experience is a must
