Java Support Analyst

On behalf of our client, a bank here in Zurich, we are looking for a L3 Support Analyst (J2EE) who is responsible for the maintenance, support, and operations of one of the bank's WM applications. For this contract position based in Zürich Switzerland, our client is looking for an English speaking candidate.

Your tasks:

  • Analysis and provide solutions for Wealth Management applications
  • Responsible for the 3rd level support
  • Ensure overall SLA of service delivery
  • Monitor the application status in the production environment
  • Analyse the issue tickets offline from logs and online with direct log in, based on severity of the highlighted issue
  • Create and maintain KDB for troubleshooting issues
  • Analytics on user behavioural and KPI reporting

The skills and experience needed for this position are:

  • 3+ years' experience in application development - Web-based applications, Web Services and Web interface
  • 2+ years' experience in L3 support
  • Strong Core Java and J2EE know how
  • Strong SQL server & Oracle/PLSQL database development skills
  • Experience on Web Services SOAP/REST
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Work experience in the banking and financial environment needed
